Privacy Policy
Last updated September 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Autocomputing Business Corporation ("Autocomputing," "we," "us") handles personal information when you visit autocomputing.host, create an account, or use our hosting services.
1. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only as a secure one-way hash, never in readable form.
- Hosting details: the domain names you host with us and the settings of your hosting account.
- Payment details: card payments are handled by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. Stripe shares the card brand, last four digits and payment status with us so we can show them to you and manage your subscription.
- Security records: IP addresses, sign-in attempts and similar events, which we use to protect accounts and prevent abuse.
- Communications: messages and call details when you contact us for support.
- Site usage: our marketing site uses Google Analytics, which collects information about your device and the pages you visit, using cookies.
2. Content you host
The websites, files, databases and email in your hosting account belong to you. We store and process them only to provide the service, keep it secure, and meet legal obligations. We do not look through them except when needed for support you request, to investigate abuse or a security problem, or when required by law. If your websites collect personal information from your own visitors, you are responsible for telling them how you use it.
3. How we use information
- to create and run your account and hosting;
- to take payments, send receipts and manage renewals;
- to send service messages, such as account verification, setup, billing and security notices;
- to detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
- to answer support requests;
- to understand how our site is used and improve it;
- to comply with the law.
We do not send marketing email unless you have agreed to receive it, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us run the Services, under obligations to protect it: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (DNS, network security and bot protection), our data-center and server infrastructure providers, our email delivery provider, and Google (site analytics).
- Authorities, when required by law, subpoena or court order, or when needed to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, the public or Autocomputing.
- A successor, if Autocomputing is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Cookies
Signing in sets a session cookie shared by autocomputing.host's sign-in and dashboard sites. It is required for your account to work. Cloudflare may set cookies to protect the site from bots. Google Analytics sets cookies on our marketing pages; you can block them in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out browser add-on without affecting your account.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is open and afterward for as long as tax, accounting and legal obligations require. Security records are kept for a limited period for abuse prevention. Hosted content is deleted after your service ends, as described in the Hosting Service Agreement.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords, sign-in rate limiting and single-use links for cPanel sign-in. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong password that you do not use anywhere else.
8. Your choices and rights
You can contact us to update your account details. You can also ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We may need to keep some records to meet legal obligations. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; contact us to exercise them. We will not treat you differently for doing so.
9. Children
Our Services are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Where information is stored
Autocomputing is based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States. Some of our service providers may process it in other countries.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or through your dashboard before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
